#28 of 101 things I love about living in Bridgenorth and the Kawarthas

Chemong Lodge. I just had lunch there today with the girls after our office meeting and tour of new listings. Wednesdays are always a good day to dine at the Lodge for their prime rib special at $14.99. Check out their website www.chemonglodge.com

Did you notice the moose carving by Woodchuk Charlie? I told you that you can see his chainsaw carvings all around the Kawarthas.

#27 of 101 things I love about living in Bridgenorth and the Kawarthas

The BEL Rotary Trail opened July 14th, 2010. The trail is about 2.3 kilometres long and is located on the unopened road allowance between Brumwell St. and the 5th Line of Smith. Beautiful!

The Peterborough Lift Locks. Lock 21 of the Trent-Severn Waterway is a lift for boats that was completed and open to the public on July 9th, 1904. In 1987, the Peterborough Lift Locks were named as an Historical Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Mechanical Engineering. You'll be seeing the locks again when I come back in the winter with my children to skate on the canal below. Kind Regards,
